Rev. Christine McFarland

Rev. Christine McFarland, Minister

Rev. Christine McFarland is a licensed and ordained Unity minister. She first attended Unity in 2001, immediately connecting with Unity beliefs and the minister who became her mentor and inspiration. She grew in consciousness, becoming involved in the church by becoming a service leader, attending classes and leading meditations. Under the guidance of Spirit she entered into Unity’s ministerial program and completed a three-year Masters of Divinity program at Unity Institute and Seminary in 2016.

Prior to moving to Springfield, Rev. Christine served as Senior Minister at Unity of the Black Hills, South Dakota and interned at Unity of Olympia, Washington and at Unity of Bozeman, Montana. Her diverse background includes employment as a fraud investigator, 911 dispatcher, and a crisis intervention specialist at Human Services. She also has a long history of community involvement.

Rev. Christine lights up when she talks about being in ministry. She believes it is important to be involved in the community, to have fun and enjoy this spiritual journey we call life. Her Sunday messages are fresh, fun and positive, with practical application for the world we live in today.
